managed. The system supports both an Asset Inventory, where product is tracked
at the individual item level, and a Product Inventory, where product is managed
by like description. The system also supports the creation of multiple inventory
databases providing unsurpassed flexibility and expansion. For example, you may
want to initially use AssetWIN to manage IT assets, and later expand it to
manage other asset groups, such as telephone equipment, furniture or even
consumable supplies. And, because each database is password protected you don't
need to worry about data autonomy. In addition, a transaction history is
maintained, providing a detailed audit trail on asset activity.
AssetWIN also supports unlimited user fields, letting you control the
information to track. Is employee ID, serial number, or department important? Do
you need to track PO number and vendors on new assets? For asset disposals do
you need to know if it was sold, donated, or scrapped? Once a user field is
defined it is instantly supported in AssetWIN's two reporting tools, Standard
