Tuesday, May 02, 2006 3E Company, the leading provider
of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) compliance and information
management services, today announced the upcoming availability of 3E Online - MSDS Expert Edition, an enhanced version of the industry-leading 3E Online
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) management system. 3E Online MSDS Expert
Edition includes new regulatory reporting and chemical and data analysis
features as well as enhanced MSDS management capabilities.
3E Online MSDS
Expert Edition helps customers streamline the management of environmental,
health and safety information and facilitate compliance. Several new features
enable clients to maintain a clear and accurate chemical inventory and reduce
the amount of time and resources necessary for effective management of inventory
and regulatory reports.
An enhanced chemical and data analysis component
of 3E Online MSDS Expert Edition allows customers to supplement ingredients
and product properties as necessary, which ensures that only the most accurate
MSDS data is being used for reporting and analysis. Customers are also able to
create and update inventory lists for specific locations. Once the information
is introduced or modified, the revised data is reflected in all reports and
regulatory lists to ensure continuity.
Improved search capabilities and
additional search criteria enable customers to easily search their inventory
using a wide variety of search terms, including molecular formula, EINECS
Number, ELINCS Number, Annex 1 Index Number, ENCS, ISHL and Korean ID Number.
Increased search functionality, including the ability to create custom searches,
greatly simplifies the search process. 3E Online MSDS Expert Edition customers
also have the ability to create custom regulatory lists based on specific
ingredients, CAS#, or a collection of regulatory lists, as well as create custom
queries within 3E Online.
An innovative regulatory analysis function
allows customers to utilize 3E Company's regulatory lists to track regulatory
changes within their inventory. Additionally, once a change has been identified,
customers can review a regulatory change report to confirm the details of the
change. A SARA Candidate List Module allows customers to actively view and print
reportable products and/or chemicals. These reports provide valuable information
and assist in identification of reportable products under SARA (Superfund
Amendments and Reauthorization Act) criteria. The reports also provide
comprehensive support documentation as backup to regulatory reporting
obligations.
Additionally, as a result of the recently announced 3E
Online MSDS Ariel WebInsight integration, 3E Online MSDS Expert Edition
customers are able to purchase an optional module providing access to their
subscription to Ariel's unrivaled chemical regulatory compliance database, which
spans more than 650 regulatory lists, 320,000 substances and 60+ countries
throughout the world. Included in the module is an expanded regulatory impact
analysis feature that offers customers access to Ariel's complete database,
enabling a better understanding of the business impact of regulatory changes on
their raw materials, components and products that specifically apply to their
inventory.
"3E Company's experience in MSDS management is unrivaled. Our
experience along with valuable customer input - has enabled us to create a

Research and Development, 3E Company. "There is not a product on the market
today that can offer customers such a powerful combination of inventory and MSDS
management tools to facilitate a better understanding of the business impact of

and functionality that they can only get through 3E Company."
