| This is an inventory of programs that
are water quality based and monitor receiving waters. Please use the following
guidelines to determine the applicability of the program you wish to
enter.
Geographical:
- saline or estuarine waters up to
the head of tide
- major programs which monitor in
close proximity to coastal waters (for example, the Sacramento/San Joaquin
Delta)
Temporal:
- ongoing multiyear
programs
- recently completed discrete
programs
Parameters Measured:
- must be water quality related or
include water quality parameters. (For instance, a trawl net survey program with
catch data only would not be applicable. However, a trawl net survey program
that included some water quality data would be.)
- water quality parameters include
physical, chemical, or toxicity data
- related data may include sediment
chemistry or toxicity, benthic, or tissue bioaccumulation
parameters
Programmatic:
- only documented programs with
formalized Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP) and information available to
the general public
- programs which monitor receiving
waters are the target of this inventory, however those which monitor effluent
may also be included
