When it comes to tracking stock at multiple locations there isn't a more effective or easier system to use than STORIS. Our industry leading bar code software features both Hand Held and Radio Frequency. For furniture retailers, serialized stock can be tracked either on the way in or captured on the way out.

STORIS offers multiple methods of costing, including average, exact replacement and FIFO reporting. For importers, landed costs include freight, duty insurance, etc. The tedious process of manual cost matching is eliminated as STORIS automatically tracks and notifies the user of costing discrepancies.

STORIS JIT Inventory only commits stock when it makes sense. The system scans for future purchase orders to determine method of allocation via incoming purchase orders or current stock. Each night, STORIS again evaluates every sales order to adjust stock commitments due to vendor lead time changes.

All STORIS inventory functions are real-time. The moment stock arrives your backorders are filled and inquiries are immediately updated. All departments are working with the same inventory information.

STORIS inventory inquiries include the ability to distinguish between estimated arrival, acknowledged or goods actually in transit. Stock information can be accessed by product number, vendor model number, product group or collection. Users can input a portion of a model number or description and let STORIS do the rest!

STORIS' online Kardex tracks all stock movement in every location for saleable and non-saleable including bin-to-bin, building to building, with reference number and comment tracking.

Deliveries
- Scheduling is controlled through routing cutoff calendars and planned capacities; capacity is controlled by either dollars, stops, number of pieces or user-defined points/seats or cubes
- Truck manifests indicate name, phone number, COD amounts and delivery instructions
- A single truck completion process records COD's, credit card authorization, delivery exceptions, reschedulings and relocation of returned merchandise. The time consuming task of processing delivery completion of each and every sales order is eliminated.

Stock Transfer Application
- Transfers utilize priority codes that can be assigned by store managers or warehouse personnel
- Transfers generated automatically for customer purchases receive the highest priority
- Daily transfer pick lists are sequenced by priority code
- Transfer (approval) process to verify goods arrived correctly
- Auto-transfer generated at point of sale
- Transfer completion by exceptions: a single keystroke can approve and locate an entire transfer transaction
- Manufacturers serial numbers can be entered either upon receipt for tracking purposes or after the sale for warranty information
- Kardex history includes all transactions that affect a product's on-hand balance including sales, transfer adjustments and returns
- Showroom floor pieces (nail downs) and nonsaleable goods are segregated from regular stock
- System security locks out costing information from unauthorized employees
- Full return to vendor (RTV) processing with integration to accounts payable
- Two optional bar coding systems: warehouse hand-held and radio frequency, are fully integrated and serialized to ensure accuracy and eliminate duplicate scans; RF picking eliminates paper, reduces labor and speeds the process
- Inventory Aging Report is sorted by category, group, brand, model or pin and each pin is printed
