Track
and manage inventory:
Use Pocket Inventory along with Cash Register
Express and Inventory Track Express to verify and manage your inventory. Walk
around your retail store and let Pocket Inventory count your merchandise by
pointing and scanning the bar codes. Pocket Inventory helps reduce shrinkage and
keep your inventory accurate.
Modify inventory:
Use Pocket
Inventory to modify the details on your inventory. You can send your inventory
list to the Palm Pilot, then scan a bar code with Pocket Inventory and it will
display the description, cost, price, and quantity-on-hand of that item. These
fields can be edited so you can make all of your changes on the fly. When you
are done, sync the data back to your computer to keep your inventory accurate
and up-do-date.
Track assets:
Use Pocket Inventory to track assets. You may need to
have a list of chairs, tables, computers, and other items in your office. What's
missing and where is it?
Add
inventory:
Now allows you to ADD a new item. When you are in Edit
Inventory mode, and you scan an item, it checks to see if the item is in
inventory, If it is not, it displays a message asking you if you would like to
add. When this transfers to ITE, it goes in like a regular inventory item and
when it transfers to CRE, it adds it to inventory.
