The program assumes you have an input file
with the proper format.?OpenMETRIC

If you plan to create the input file using another type of scanner or
program, contact Technical Support at Diversified Data Systems for more
information on the structure and layout of the input file.
Locate the input file, select it, and click
the Open button.?A message will inform
you €œData queued successfully.?Click OK
to clear the message.
The system takes each record in the input
file you selected, and adds it to a file referred to as Queue.?You can continue to collect records in the
queue by processing multiple input files.
After at least one file has been added to
the €œqueue, the other previously disabled buttons are enabled on the screen,
including one to €œPrint the Queue Journal€?and another to €œProcess all Queued
files€?/SPAN>
At any time after queuing at least one file,
pressing the button entitled €œPrint the
Queue Journal€?/SPAN> will cause a report to be printed which gives summary
information for all queued data.?This
step may be repeated as desired, or may not be used at all.
NOTE:
The Queue Journal may only be printed until the user selects the button €œProcess
all Queued files€?after which all queued data is cleared.
At any time after queuing at least one file,
pressing the button entitled €œProcess all Queued files€?/B> begins the process of
updating the system with the Physical Inventory Information from the Trakker. A series of reports are printed
as the update progresses.

- Handheld Update Physical Inventory Error List
- Items
Not Found by Location
- Items
Found which are Past Due for Calibration
- Items
Found in Wrong Locations
The above named reports will be created as
files in a location determined by the user€™s value in "PATH:RPT" setting in
the Reference file
