Job Tracker is an asset tracking system that can be used over a network to track
documents, files, evidence, assets, drawings and blueprints quickly and
precisely.
If your business is on a network or LAN you can literally
track files, documents, evidence etc. from one desk to the next with TAMPER
PROOF security! Assign your administrator with the database files and have the
JobTracker software installed on each PC in the event chain. Have one of our $79
Kanescan barcode scanners at each PC. When an employee "hands off" the asset
they make sure that the receiving party scans it into JobTracker which creates a
TAMPER PROOF stamp recording the date, time and PC/employee who just received
it. Immediately anyone with the software can type in that asset ID and see where
it is and where it has been with times, dates , locations and personnel.
If you don't have or want barcode scanners at each station then
employees can simply type in the barcode ID number and click on the "Accept
Ownership of Asset" button to record its new location.
At any time the
comments field can be used to add a brief note or even pages of text to be added
to the permanent record.

JobTracker
software enables the tracking of unlimited number documents/files/evidence etc.
from order approval, issuance, origin to order status, location, destination to
shipment status, closure and storage, check requisition and more. It is easy to
trace tracking numbers and to attach barcodes to any document type such as
MS-Word, MS- Excel, and MS- PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Corel WordPerfect, Corel
Quattro Pro and many others, including your proprietary software. You can create
labels to attach to files and objects as well.
JobTracker is not an
Active-X, making it independent of Active-X dependent software, meaning your
document software is probably compatible already.
�Helps to keep track
of all your documents/files/evidence etc. by saving the information in an Access
database using Barcode 128.
�The Access Database can be shared with others
over a network.
�Barcodes can be exported to any other windows application
that accepts graphics, in a vertical or horizontal position depending on your
needs or printed on to labels.
�Barcode 128 has a check digit for greater
scanning accuracy. �A tamper proof time stamp utility logs each PC system date,
time and user name when scanned.
Once any record is created JobTracker
assigns an asset ID number and creates the associated barcode image. By clicking
on the Copy barcode button the image is copied to the PC's clipboard and is
ready to be pasted into a document, label or other application.
