Beechwood Sales and Service is an Anheuser-Busch wholesale distributor for
Southwestern part of Wisconsin. Our primary responsibility is to effectively
sell, merchandise, and promote the beers and image of Anheuser-Busch family
products.
We are in search of an Inventory Coordinator who will be
responsible for ensuring that correct product is received, stored, and properly
rotated in the warehouse.
Responsibilities include, but will not be
limited to, the following:
Daily accounting and adjusting of inventory
levels
Assist Sales Manager in forecasting sales
Communicate with
brewery regarding delivery of product
Reporting to Anheuser Busch on
inventory and sales levels
Weekly inventory of product by code date
Verify and swap for inventory with other wholesalers as appropriate
Weekly
inventory reconciliation
Maintain awareness of product with code dates
Monthly physical inventory count and reconciliation
Record and file
freight claims
Coordinate transfers between wholesalers
Schedule
delivery appointments from out of pattern shippers
Apply for and maintain
all licenses and permits
Prepare monthly excise tax return
Order
supplies including repack, shells and maintenance products
Check
adjustment sheets daily and investigate adjustments
Apply for monthly
depletion allowances
Assist on special projects as needed
Serve as a
backup to warehouse manager as needed
Essential job requirements:
BA/BS in a business related major or pertinent experience
Ability to
work independently
Excellent communication ability
Proven computer
skills including spreadsheet design and word processing
Critical
physical demands:
Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business
equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding
machine and copier
Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional
basis
Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
Occasional
exposure to temperatures ranging from 30-100 degrees F on a seasonal basis
Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on an
occasional basis
