Mission Viejo, CA.May 27, 2004. DST Inc. has unveiled integration between the FleetCross cross-referencing tool and "DSTWare" inventory management system. The integrated cross referencing functionality adds a new productivity dimension for WD's and fleet operations in easily accessing correct part numbers.

Utilizing an OEM part number, the Internet-based cross referencing tool automatically provides any manufacturer's appropriate heavy duty or aftermarket part number and adds it to the ordering pick list. Countermen are thus saved the time needed to cross reference using catalogs. Warehouses are saved from having to stock multiple part numbers for the same part.

In addition to providing over twenty million cross referenced part numbers in a database that has taken 12 years to build, Rochester, NY-based FleetCross also provides VIN based references, technical specifications, exploded diagrams, parts photographs, and technical service bulletins. The significant breakthrough in the successful integration between FleetCross and "DSTWare" is that for the first time there is a single, seamless, comprehensive system that goes from the beginning of the repair process all the way through to the point of inventory control and purchasing.
