automatically recognizes what youve entered and retrieves the proper SKU. |
|
Bar Code Labels and Tags |

range of sizes and styles.?Print removable labels for gift items, barbell
labels for jewelry and hang tags for apparel. Labels can be automatically
generated when the order is placed, received or when SKUs are transferred
between locations.?You can even identify SKUs that are pre-priced and bar coded
by the supplier and don't require a label such as books and greeting
cards.?/font> |
|
Easy SKU Creation |
Easily establish SKUs, defining important information
such as description, vendor, department, category, classification, sizes, color,
taxability, label type and up to four user definable fields.?Create similar
SKUs using TAM's copy forward feature, preventing duplicate keystrokes and
creating and managing your SKU file with ease.?When you're creating a SKU you
can also create vendors, departments, categories and more without even leaving
the SKU option. |
|
Smart SKU Features |
When you establish a SKU you can automatically invoke
useful features in cash register when that SKU is sold.?For example, you can
prevent a SKU from ever being discounted.?This is great for promotional or
charitable SKUs. Also, you can attach an informational message to the SKU that
is automatically displayed when the SKU is sold informing the associate of up
sell opportunities, special terms or conditions for the SKU.?This is great to
remind the associate and customer that a SKU needs batteries.?nbsp; |
|
Many Useful SKU Types |
Create many different SKU types with TAM.?Inventory SKUs
allow you to define products that you purchase and track how many you have on
hand and on order.?These are the SKU types that allow for minimum level
tracking as well.?Also, create non-inventory SKUs to sell services, admissions
and?memberships.?These SKUs track sales but not on-hand quantities.?Then
there are bundled SKUs.?These are used for things like gift baskets and sets,
bulk pricing, and linking multiple UPC bar codes.?nbsp; |
|
Reporting with High Level of
Selectability |
Define your own SQL queries without being a programmer.?
Then use that query to select what SKUs you would like to work with on screen,
have printed on any of our many reports and more.?See reports for a particular
vendor, department, category, class and more. Don't be forced by other
solutions to view huge reports.?TAM allows you to view the information you want
when you want it! |
|
Purchase Orders Your Way |
TAM has two ways to establish purchase orders.?The
On-screen ordering option lets you review all of a vendor's SKUs and their
performance. During this review, know for a fact how the SKUs are performing
and which ones to order.?As always with TAM, you can even establish new SKUs
for the vendor in this process and add them to the order with one click of the
mouse.?The second way to establish orders is?to quickly enter them using the
purchase order option.?This option is great for orders that were placed by
phone or at your favorite buying show.?Effortlessly print professional purchase
orders along with time saving receiving documents.?nbsp; |
|
Manage Back Orders |
Effortlessly manage and report on vendor back orders.?
Know what's in and what's still coming with the press of a few buttons.?Print
out open purchase orders by vendor and/or due date.?nbsp; |
|
Receiving SKUs |
Whether using the purchase options or not, it's a snap to
receive SKUs into the system.?If receiving against a purchase order, simply
acknowledge which SKUs have arrived and press a single key to update the
receiving. Pricing labels and tags are generated automatically.?Use the
direct receiving to quickly receive SKUs and print labels without a purchase
order.?Even create SKUs and receive them in one program at one
time! |
|
Vendor Returns |
Process and track damaged SKUs that need to be returned
to, or credited by the vendor.?This easy to use feature allows you to record
the units damaged and prints a credit request form making communicating to the
vendor and your financial people a snap.?nbsp; |
|
Dated Promotional Pricing |
Enter a start and end date for a promotional price and
TAM will automatically change that price at the register. Once the promotional
period ends, TAM automatically reverts to the original retail
price. |
|
Minimum Replenishment |
Never lose a sale again! Using minimum and recommended
reorder levels, identify mandatory SKUs and quickly reorder them before you run
out. |
|
Open to Buy* |
Create and analyze merchandising plans by season,
department, category, class and more. Prevent over and under buying; either can
have a devastating effect on the stores performance. |
|
GMROI, Turn and ROS |
Gross margin alone can't judge a SKUs performance. High
priced SKUs will always rank higher than lower priced SKUs. Gross Margin Return
on Investment (GMROI) levels the playing field, showing the profit returned for
each dollar invested. Use Turn to proactively find slow movers for promotion and
Rate Of Sale (ROS) to predict future stock outages. |
|
Perform Physical Inventories |
Easily prepare count sheets and perform physical
inventory with a minimum of disruption to your organization.?It's correct to
believe that a perpetual inventory system will drastically reduce the number of
physical inventories your organization will need to perform, but you will still
have to perform at least one at year end to account for shrinkage or human
error.?When that time comes TAM allows you many options, from counting the
entire store to just key areas.?That's right, TAM will allow you to count a
particular vendor, department, category or class!?This feature is very useful
for cycle counts in larger organizations.?Our innovative approach to physical
inventory allows you to take your time entering and reviewing the count before
posting the variations.?The reviewing and posting can even take place while you
are ringing sales and processing receipts. |
