Inventory is an easy to use database program that allows you to quickly build a
permanent record of your property and its value. You may record descriptions of
items, where they were purchased, when they were purchased, current location and
value. You may also store digital images of the items in your database. Records
of this sort could prove invaluable for insurance claims in the event of a
theft, a fire or a natural disaster.
To begin
entering information, simply click the Add New button and begin entering
information. The Item Description field is the only mandatory field. All other
fields are optional and may be left blank. The items that appear on the Category
and Location pop down lists may be customized. Select Category or Location from
the Maintain Menu to add or remove items from these lists.
The information
you enter may be easily recalled and viewed on the screen, or printed through a
variety of reports. A custom reporting option is also included, making it easy
to create reports containing just the information you want. In your custom
reports may be saved and then run at a later time. Context sensitive help (press
F1) is available throughout the program to help you use the database in the most
efficient manner.
