Dart Logistics International, a contract or third-party logistics provider (3PL) based in Los Angeles, California and with facilities
coast to coast, provides warehousing, order fulfillment and distribution services for nearly one hundred clients, each with their own unique business model. Using IRMS to manage warehouse and distribution operations in their facilities and expand into e-commerce fulfillment, Dart has seen a six-fold increase in business, 50% increase in productivity with reduced labor costs, 99.9%+ inventory accuracy and an incredible .05% shrink rate.

For Dart, doing business in an ecommerce world meant incorporating new technology. With the Internet revolution, customers expected a paperless, web-based partner capable of interfacing with their own systems.

Dart needed a robust system that could handle
significant volume - millions of shipments at a crack - and needed to become a paperless warehouse and offer web-based visibility. Dart needed to provide piece-picking/packing for the .COMs, which was a service they didn't previously offer. They also wanted technology that would help maximize the use of the warehouse and give tracking visibility for knowing the location of every item in our facility at any given time.

Wish list firmly in hand, the company conducted an extensive search of what the marketplace had to offer and after observing operations at other IRMS warehouses, Dart selected Integrated Warehousing Solutions' IRMS Warehouse Management System.
